CareStation Basics
CareStationTM is an easy to use, graphical, secure web-browser-based interface to the MobileCare Monitor. The web-based application supports Touchscreen access such as the ELO flat screen monitor designed for healthcare facility use. It provides real-time status and location information so individuals can be easily located if care or assistance is needed. Resident Status, Resident Location via a Floor Plan Map, Current Active (Open) Alerts, and Standard Reports are available for institutional staff. Each feature page includes links to the other feature pages.
Resident Status Screen
The Resident Status screen provides ‘at a glance’ snapshots of the status of monitored individuals. This is the main status summary page for a small, independent living setting example within a senior living community. It provides individual profile information, simple alert status (green or red icon buttons), resident location, watch battery status, and the latest watch data and event timestamps. When the alert history button for an individual is green, the resident status is normal. When the button is red, the resident needs to be checked. Clicking on the Alert History button opens the current alert or a history of all prior alerts. Clicking an active (open) alert provides the ability to acknowledge it and, after providing aid, to document the resolution.
Resident Profile Detail
The Resident Profile page provides detailed resident information and a history of alerts. Recent Statistics shows the resident's last location, watch status (being worn or not worn) at that time, skin temperature, and ambient air temperature of the resident. If pulse and blood oxygen third party devices are enabled for that resident, the latest measurements are also shown. Recent Location displays a sequential history of the most recent locations visited which helps to provide information on activity levels. This data is also logged over the long-term for history reporting. Recent Events displays a sequential history of the most recent alerts including a history of the alert resolutions.
Profile displays a photo of the resident with additional demographic information and the instructions for where alerts are to be sent. This web-based application is secure, encrypted and password authorization is required for access.
Resident Map – Locating an Individual
The Resident Map provides a view of the real-time locations of individuals within a facility or home. The individual is represented as a picture icon. This can be a powerful tool in home settings or in an
environment of high staffing changes by providing positive identification of residents. The green border around the resident's photo icon indicates resident status is normal. If the border is red, there is an active alert for this individual.
